On-site Resident Engineer. Duties include trouble shooting software, technical support and configuration, Oracle Database Maintenance, and system administration duties. Oracle DBA experience desired (lnstallation, configuration, maintenance, tuning and troubleshooting). This position is for an on-site Resident Engineer Position to support our clients Records Management (I/Leads) product suite and interfaces. Under minimum supervision, applies diversified knowledge of hardware and/or software engineering principles and practices in the area of system integration. Able to work independently and able to maintain, troubleshoot and help users with the Records System and interfaces.
Prior work experiences with Oracle, ODBC, FoxPro, VB, and HTML a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a team and independently. Excellent communication ns skills, written and verbal. Must be able to pass and maintain a favorable background check.
Degree desired, but not required if candidate has equivalent years of experience in Public Safety or related field.
