A public held company with 18 years of experience in the banking field looking for an individual
to join our development group that has knowledge and skills in ISeries -- I5 development
initiatives. This position will be responsible for developing efficient processes based on user's
requirements for our custom applications.
Candidate should have experience / knowledge in the following areas:
· 3-5 years of programming in RPG IV.
· Need a good understanding of the 400 / I5, command language, etc.
· Experience or knowledge with programming languages such as: Java, SQL, HTML and XML.
· Experience / knowledge working with database platforms; DB2, MySQL and Microsoft SQL.
· Must have experienced a project life cycle including: business process design,
documentation and execution, conversions/interfaces, testing and successful
implementation.
· Ability to multi-task, manages details, execute effective follow-through and demonstrated
dependability in a highly dynamic environment.
· Qualified candidate must have a minimum of a two-year technical degree or relevant
experience along with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar position.
· Strong communication and project management skills
This is a fast-paced and challenging position with focus on creativity and collaboration on process
improvements for our collection process of financial data.
