Contribute your expertise as an APPLICATION ENGINEER. The incumbent will be responsible in setting up and maintaining game servers. He/She will analyze game server traffic, generating reports and identifying optimization strategies. The individual will troubleshoot errors, security and performance issues with senior members of the team for resolutions.

Responsibilities:
• Set up, maintain game servers by installing and configuring game servers, database
• Optimize performance of servers by analyzing game server traffic, generating reports and identifying optimization strategies
• Optimize performance of game servers by executing database queries
• Troubleshoot errors, security and performance issues and work with senior members of the team for resolution
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and 2+ years experience
• Experience administering and performance-tuning Windows systems, server clusters, MS SQL, load balancers, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS system and MS SQL server installation and configuration
• Experience scaling a production environment to a large number of users with high availability 24×7
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, http, database and server optimization
• Knowledge of database concepts and comfortable with SQL
• Ability to create, debug and maintain complex scripts
• Familiarity with server performance analysis and tuning, QOS, and scalability issues
• Experience with large size MMO servers management desired
• Experience with Akamai or other CDN desired
