InfoTech Resources is seeking candidates for a direct hire HR Implementation Lead position in Columbus, IN. Position requires up to 80% travel.
Responsibilities:
• Lead technical teams and IT work efforts for Oracle HR implementation projects.
• Gap Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Deployment of Customizations, Interfaces and Data Conversion within the architecture of Oracle Applications.
• The most prevalent custom development work will comprise of Oracle Application Framework (OAF) self-service (web-based) applications.
• Ability to forecast and manage offshore staffing levels required to meet implementation timelines.
• Strong customer focus and will work closely with the HR functional leaders, functional implementation teams and the Oracle HR Production Support team.
Requirements:
• 3-5 Yrs technical experience with Oracle HCM Applications, especially Self-Service (e.g. Employee/Manager Self Service, iRecruitment, Oracle Learning Management etc.).
• Technical experience with J2EE, PL/SQL, UNIX, and internet network and software architectures.
• Experience leading development teams using development life cycle (Waterfall methodology).
• Knowledge of HR Business Processes
SKILLS - QUALITY/IMPROVEMENT:
• Ensuring that the team produces quality deliverables that adhere to the best of the development standards and practices in the industry.
• Lead the development team with ingenuity in problem solving to create supportable, generic modular, elegant and reliable/reusable solutions.
• Define and enforce Change Control/Migration processes and best practices to ensure a quality and stable Production Environment.
SKILLS - TEAMWORK:
• Liaison with functional team on the gap analysis, data mapping, functional requirements/solution design for development work.
• Liaison with functional team for end-to-end process testing during CRP's and UAT.
• Work with the infrastructure team in planning for the required database instances ' instance management, upgrades, application of patches etc.
SKILLS - LEADERSHIP:
• Project Management experience.
• Experience leading development teams using the software development life cycle.
• Lead the regional development team to deliver technical designs and deliverables on time and on budget.
• Work with global preferred vendors to forecast and fulfill staffing requirements on the CORE HR Implementations.
