POSITION OVERVIEW: Rexnord is under-taking a major transformation of its application solution set to support the growing needs of the business. Part of this transformation is the utilization of the PeopleSoft Enterprise application suite (CRM, SCM, and EPM) as Rexnord's core ERP platform. Rexnord is seeking qualified candidates to build a PeopleSoft Center of Excellence to enable this transformation.
Reporting to the Director, Application Services, the PeopleSoft Order Management System Analyst is responsible for the design, support, and maintenance of Rexnord's Order Management business solutions. This position will work closely with business users as well as developers to align the requirements and needs of the business with robust application solutions and services. The position is responsible for understanding business requirements and processes, designing solutions, configuring applications, understanding data structures and reporting information, and providing application support.
REPORTS TO: Director, Application Services
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop strong business relationships to understand business requirements and processes in order to design robust Order Fulfillment application solutions to deliver business value.
2. Provide PeopleSoft SCM application expertise, and participate in all facets of solution implementation including planning, design, build, and test.
3. Understand PeopleSoft SCM data structures, including the ability to extract and present timely, usable information.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. 5+ years of PS implementation experience. SCM experience is mandatory, CRM, OM or Inventory experience is also preferred.
2. 5+ years experience supporting enterprise wide applications. Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred.
3. Good writing and documentation skills for preparing detailed Design Specifications.
4. Proficiency with SQL language and code constructs.
5. Familiarity with PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, PeopleSoft COBOL, Integration Broker, and Component Interface.
AREAS OF APPLICATION EXPERTISE:
- At least 5 years experience with PeopleSoft SCM on versions 8.8 or 8.9.
- Order Management
- Pricing - Arbitration Plans, Buying Agreements, Pricing EIPs between CRM and SCM
- Billing Configuration
- PeopleSoft Feature Function Security
- Customers/Contacts
- Product Alias
- Authorizations (Product catalogs)
- Common EIPs between CRM and SCM
- Experienced in PeopleSoft Reporting Technologies: Crystal, SQR, and Query
Required Qualifications: BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science; MBA a plus
