This is an exciting opportunity to join the IT Mergers Acquisitions & Divestitures (MA&D) team of Agilent. In this role you will be responsible for delivering results on global mergers, acquisition and divestiture projects. You will manage, direct and/or support Agilent's acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments, and other transaction planning and management, focusing on Division through Company level issues.

Agilent IT has a dedicated team of project managers focused on post-merger integration. Your role will include leading a virtual team to design, manage and execute plans and processes for effective post merger IT integration. Ideal candidate will have experience with complex program management, preferably in the Merger, Acquisition and Divestiture field as well as experience in front-end and back-end business processes and the delivery of applications and system solutions.
Major Responsibilities for this position include:
1. Develops analyses and project plans.
2. Identifies key risks and develops mitigation plans with the business.
3. Consolidates and manages the overall IT expenses.
4. Leads the IT portion of due diligence activities with Corporate departments.
5. Coordinates team meetings and review process with stakeholders.
6. Develops prioritization strategies and plans.
7. Serves as principal contact within IT to Corporate Development and the Business.
8. Owns and develops specific practice areas to create and maintain a best-in-class IT MA&D function within Agilent.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, with typically 9 to 15 years practical experience. 10+ years of large project management experience in complex and cross functional projects.
Experience with IT and Mergers, Acquisition and Divestitures projects are preferred.
Leading and operating in a virtual global team environment is a must.
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple types of transactions independently from initiation through closure.
Must demonstrate strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills in team settings where team members are not direct reports.
Demonstrated experience leading analytic and tactical elements of strategic change.
Previous experience in direct supervision of highly skilled and experienced staff desired.
