Reporting To: VP Marketing
As part of our marketing team, the Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our channel marketing programs. This individual will be responsible for servicing the needs of the sales teams by providing creative leadership and project management for retail materials such as retail POS, retail promotion materials, packaging, collateral, in-store video content, and in-store training tools and other elements as needed. They will work closely with the sales team and their customers to deliver compelling programs that educate, motivate and facilitate the sales of our video system.
Responsibilities:
Generate of Creative Briefs, Promotional Briefs and other instructions by soliciting feedback for internal/external customers.
Manage the art generation, printing process, and all other logistical issues to deliver programs on time, on budget, and on brand.
Manage copywriting process working with in-house copywriter.
Manage in-house staff of retail trainers.
Monitoring the effectiveness of retail programs within the CE industry and other industries and educate peers.
Solicit feedback from Sales Management team and Retailers on the effectiveness of programs and use that information to bring new, innovative ideas into the team.
Skills and Attributes:
Project/Program/Budget Management experiences a must.
Ability to manage deadlines of projects with external agencies and internal creative services team.
A working knowledge of retail merchandising and advertising especially in the CE industry.
Understanding of display fixtures and the limitations for executions within the retail environment.
Proven experience executing multiple types of marketing programs on a concurrent basis.
A working knowledge of project / creative quotation and bidding process.
High comfort level with office software such as Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel.
Basic knowledge of graphics programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional.
Ability to handle outside vendors and attention to detail.
Excellent working knowledge of the English language, grammar and spelling since this position includes a lot of proof reading.
Experience with Copywriting desired but not required.
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's degree plus 4-6 years of directly related experience OR in lieu of degree, 8 years of directly related experience.
