We are seeking a Product Manager experienced with cutting edge product development bringing the web as a platform concept to VUDU's product initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background developing detailed functional documentation, product roadmaps, and a proven record of launching successful products and features that will merge B2C web-based initiatives with a consumer electronics device.
Responsibilities:
Integrate new product and business concepts from your own vision as well as that of customers and partners.
Define product line vision and drive product roadmap. Work closely with engineering to define cutting edge products that can be delivered on time
Manage day-to-day product functionality, bug reports, and enhancement requests.
Collaborates with marketing to understand customer, competitors and industry needs.
Champion the product internally and externally. Work closely with marketing to communicate features and benefits through all available information channels. Provide marketing and sales organizations with product documentation, tools, training and support required to maximize market success.
Skills and Attributes:
A minimum of 4 years recent experience in a product manager role from a leading consumer facing web-based company
Track record of creating successful leading edge products and services.
Demonstrated entrepreneurial success.
Ability to think outside the box and be highly creative.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and persuasively at all levels internally and externally.
Detail oriented
Combination of large company and start-up experience preferred.
Education and Certification:
Technical BS degree and MBA preferred
