The engineer will help to build test automation framework for QA group, design and architect the entire test suite and automate existing test cases.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement automation framework in any kind of scripting language perl, python, ruby
Automate test case and maintenance using the test frame work
Execute automation test suite and report the result
Implement any special project automation that meets the customer need
Assist any other team member in using the test harness to write their own test case automation
Be the first member of tool and automation team and then expand the group to cover more areas of client and server testing.
Skills and Attributes:
8+ years QA experience
A minimum of 3 years experience in test automation
Created at least 1 test framework in any scripting language
Demonstrated scripting (Ruby, Perl or Python) for test automation is required
Experience with Client Server testing
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and on a team
Strong attention to detail
Positive attitude and ability to deliver
Experience with P2P technology a plus
Education and Certification:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
