This senior software development position will be responsible for design, implementation and unit testing of VUDU's data services architecture. This position will be primarily responsible for the development of middleware and application functionality for VUDU's consumer media device.
Skills and Attributes:
4+ years of application development experience preferred
Self-motivated hands on generalist in client-server software development
Start-up work experiences a plus
Proficient in C, C++
Experience writing multi-threaded application software
Experience with databases architectures and searching algorithms
Experience with file systems and high performance caching architectures
Proficient with Linux and MySQL or equivalent
Embedded systems software development a plus
Good verbal and written communication skills
Committed to software quality and customer satisfaction
Able to work in fast pace high performance development environment
Ability to meet deadlines and commitment to team goals
Education and Certification:
BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
