The right candidate for this position will participate in the design and implementation of core UI functionality on a consumer media device. You will interface with Marketing and designers to bring concepts to reality.
Skills and Attributes:
High proficiency in C/C++ (3+ years of experience preferred)
Experience writing UI software for embedded systems
Expertise in developing UI toolkits, such as an XML based layout engine, and in implementing significant portions of a web browser, e.g., Firefox, IE, Opera.
Multi-threaded programming experience
Good written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in fast-paced, high-performance development environment
Flexible and team-oriented
Experience working on a consumer media device
Dynamic HTML, JavaScript, and/or Lua experience a plus
Education and Certification:
BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
