VUDU is seeking exceptional Java Software Developers to analyze, debug, and extend VUDU's community features, set-top box control, billing, and ERP.
Skills and Attributes:
5+ years solid work history in a development role
Very experienced in Java, JDBC, schema design, O/R mapping, MVC framework, HTML, Javascript, AJAX
Experience with Apache Open For Business project a big plus
Experience in multi-threaded application development is essential
Proficient with Linux
Working knowledge of MySQL, ejb3, JSF, JMS or equivalent is highly desired
Start-up work experiences a plus
Must possess solid written & verbal English skills, strong work ethic, attention to detail, independent learner, work with minimal supervision, well-mannered
This position will be required to be on-call and provide off-hour support for problems or outages
Education and Certification:
BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
