Position Summary:
Streamline is looking for a Multimedia Developer to join our web application development team. It's a fun and exciting opportunity where you will be constantly challenged to push the limits of web technology. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of development experience, with a focus in Flash/Flex programming. We do expect you to have a core development background that allows you to navigate any challenge regardless of the syntax. You'll need to be a creative thinker, detail-oriented, confident, and able to clearly express ideas and concepts to other team members. Most importantly we want you to be passionate about what you do, and have fun while doing it.
Core Responsibilities:
- Development of data-driven FLEX/Flash applications.
- Integration of Flex/Flash with backend applications and DB.
- Effectively interpret storyboards and flowchart diagrams.
- Create websites using Dreamweaver with ability to code and edit HTML/CSS.
- Technical and creative input on all assigned projects.
- Proactively anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks.
- Ability to estimate work and manage deadlines.
Required Experience:
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Flash and Flex (Actionscript 2/3 OOP)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML.
Desired Experience:
- eLearning/SCORM compliance.
- Backend programming experience (PHP, Ruby on Rails, ASP).
- Database design (PostgreSQL, mySQL).
- Animation experience with Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or 3D Studio Max.
