Our client is looking for a solid Database Developer to join the core product team. Company is experiencing meteoric growth and needs someone who knows how tons of information should be stored and accessed the right way. This person will be an expert in relational databases, stored procedures, tables, queries, etc..., SQL Server 2005 specifically and complement the existing production DBA. Want to work in a collaborative team environment to solve complex problems.

Company is a late stage start-up and has been around for a number of years. With close to 200 people in the company, about 10-12 in engineering. Recently received a second round of funding from top-notch VCs. Company is near cash flow positive and has a very bright future ahead -- currently partnered with several top retail chain super stores (computer electronics, office supplies) and generating revenue. Boasts over 100,000 paying subscribers and growing fast.

Requirements:

- BS/MS in Computer Science (or related)
- Strong T-SQL and Advanced query design
- Must be able to design and implement complex schemas and queries
- Must be able to optimize and design complex relational database backend
- Experience with relational databases and reporting tools
- Experience writing SQL Server Stored Procedures, Functions Triggers and DDL

Salary is from 80k to 100k, up to 10% bonus + equity, also offers a full benefits package.
Location: Newton, MA area. Close to the T for public commuters
