MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Business Analyst JC6703 with strong information technology business analysis experience. Must have experience with HRMS solutions and PeopleSoft HR/Payroll v8.x/9.0. Must also have a thorough understanding of business processes, workflows and requirements along with business needs and processes. Experience documenting business requirements and translate those to functional, non-functional and technical specifications required. Fluent in modeling business processes and understanding of how and where systems and applications impede or enhance business agility also required. Demonstrated experience with understanding customer-centric design principles. Experience authoring and diagramming business processes in various formats. Experience with requirements engineering. Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio and PowerPoint. Experience in HRMS version upgrade projects preferred. Experience with PeopleSoft User Productivity Pack (UPK) tool beneficial. Experience in PeopleSoft Payroll Interface, G/L Interface, performance management, compensation management and benefits administration also beneficial.
You will document Human Resources Management System (HRMS) functional module configuration settings and participate in analysis of business processes. Lead the facilitation of the SMEs through the discovery and documentation of requirements. Work in concert with development managers, IT vendors and packaged application vendors to maintain the integrity of business requirements. Develop test scripts. Conduct testing and validation of configured HRMS functionality. Conduct testing and validation of converted data. Document data standards and data maintenance processes along with data interface requirements. Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills both verbal and written with ability to work both independently and in a team.
