Overview
TP Systems' IT staffing division brings experienced IT professionals together with BC based hiring organizations on a full-time and contract basis. Our client is seeking a lead programmer proficient in VB.net, VB.6,Crystal Reports, and SQL to work out of Vancouver.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and implement changes in the current VB6, and SQL software systems.
Assisting with the customization for the existing client base.
Develop and design reports in Crystal Reports - 15% of the job.
Training and Maintenance services for the clients.
Skills and Experience
4 years experience in business oriented applications using VB6, VB.Net and SQL.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral)
Experience working in client-facing roles.
Self-motivated and able to take the initiative when required.
Desirable Skills
A knowledge of the Mortgage industry, Accounting, and Mathematics, as well as Finance would be an asset.
