The People Source has an immediate opening for one Manager of Software Development. The Development Manager will lead a team working on our clients multi-national, multi-lingual e-commerce sites. This is an excellent opportunity to get exposed to some of the latest and greatest concepts on the internet, including web 2.0, Social Media applications, integration with huge e-commerce companies, and more. The candidate will have come through the ranks of software developer, architect, lead, etc. and will have recent development experience. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced agile/Scrum environment. Previous e-commerce experience is highly desired.
MUST HAVE:
• 3+ years experience managing software development teams
• 7+ years experience in a software development position with 3 years minimum ASP.NET and C# web and windows application development experience
• Excellent team organizational and coordination skills
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of the project team, management team, and sub-contractors.
• Experience with/and or knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum)
• e-commerce experience
NICE TO HAVE:
• Experience with the following; HTML, XML, SOAP, User Controls in .NET, Web Services, JavaScript, classic ASP, VB 6, COM/COM+, and Cold Fusion
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
