Required Skills:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
* 7-10 years in a routed and switched network environment (CISCO, Novell NetWare 4/5, Network e-mail and/or Windows NT), in a large network of at least 150 local and remote sites.
* Experience installing, configuring and maintaining CISCO routers and network switches
* Thorough understanding VOIP and network protocols including IPX, IP, ATM, SNA, SIP, QOS and X.25.
* Requires strong commitment to teambuilding, as well as skills in leadership, organization, documentation and good verbal and written communication skills.
Preffered Skills:
• Experience with HP Openview, CISCO Works and CISCO PIX Firewall.
• Experience in one or more of the following: GroupWise, ManageWise, WinFrame, Router & WAN, Nortel PBX, Symposium, Passport, Call Pilot certification, Internet and/or Intranet
• Enterprise level experiece on VOIP implementation - ICCM/UCCE.
• Call Center scripting is a plus
• Unity VM experience is a plus.
• CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Novell Certified Network Engineer (CNE)
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE)
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Engineer (CCIE)
