Software Engineer (HRA14)
You will support the development of real-time avionics (weapons and sensors) simulation software. This will include requirements analysis, preliminary and detailed design, code-unit test and integration to include customer acceptance. Applications include F16 and F18 aircraft core avionics simulations including Radar, Electronic Warfare (EW), and Smart Weapons (HARM).
Simulation software development includes new code development, adaptation of existing code, reuse of existing code and combinations thereof. Tasks will include formal presentations, both internal and external, and interaction with customers. Experience in simulation of avionics subsystems is required, however, experience in development of actual aircraft systems will be considered for simulation experience. Software experience should span one or more of the following: C, C++, FORTRAN, and Ada.
Experience with stand-alone and networked training devices desired.
This position is located in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.
