Our client has new products in R&D, is engineering centric, develops IP locally, has a business plan to grow the firm and considers engineering a valuable resource within the organization. This client is offering a full-time position for an Embedded Software Design Engineer, offers flexible hours, balanced work/personal life, and a positive work environment.
What will you be doing?
Much of our client's software development occurs in the embedded environment, utilizing multiple versions of Linux, as well as low-level code for microcontrollers. The ideal candidate must be capable of development with hardware and real-time issues, as well as using solid software development methodology.
Requirements
? Minimum of 5 years experience developing embedded software in a Linux or Unix environment, C programming language
? Experience with real-time systems
? Must be self-managed, and proactively solve issues with a minimum of direction
? Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
Desirable:
? Knowledge or experience of video file formats and processing
? Experience with networking development, both wired and wireless
Salary: Competitive, depending on skills and experience
