DTN is seeking a Software Development Manager to effectively manage a team of highly motivated developers ranging from Web to Application, driving them to successfully deliver real-time, online products for our Trading Markets division. The Software Development Manager will constantly be seeking ways to improve the application systems environment, protocols, and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA / BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years of technical industry experience in a windows environment , including extensive hands-on development and a history of expanding organizational responsibility and achievement
• 5+ years engineering management experience with a track record of success in leading teams of diverse, dedicated, high-performance individuals
• Results-oriented approach with a commitment to quality and detail
• Thorough development methodology understanding
• Systems analysis and design experience
• Resource management and coaching/mentoring background
• Experience in Windows development environment
• Desire to stay ahead of trends in technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Futures and Equity Markets is preferred, but not required
