We are seeking a Web professioanl to join our dynamic, entrepreneurial all-star Information Technology team. This is a 3-4 months contract position with an option of converting to full time, location Santa Monica, CA.
The integration developer 3 - 5 years experience will perform coding for existing, custom, COTS, and internet-based software supporting the company's business goals. Multi-tier and multi-platform experience would be necessary. Manage, develop, integrate and implement applications components, including front end, development, server-side development and database integration.
We are a mostly Solaris Unix and Linux environment - experience with Apache, Java (J2EE), XML, HTML, SOAP, DHTML, AJAX. An understanding of multimedia applications, database interactions (Oracle) and LDAP Directory is important. Other database experience will work as well - but we are a big Oracle shop. You will need systems administration, configuration, and integration experience with coding background - but not a super coder. You will be building and writing scripts - Perl and some others - JavaScript and shell scripting experience also relevant.
Must haves:
· 3-5 years of web development and integration experience (front, middle and backend)
· Java/PHP development
· Apache: HPD LTPD
· Tomcat JBOSS
· Oracle Application Server - very big plus
· Understand the video game development process
