Windchill Developer
Description:
Responsibilities in this position will include:
* Applying software engineering best practices, providing/ supporting project management, conduct analysis of customer requirements, software development and testing, quality assurance, reusability library solutions, peer reviews, software configuration management, integration of application computing systems and interfaces.
* Designs, codes, tests, documents, and installs software routines, modules, and programs of a complex nature.
* Creates estimates and works with PM to determine schedules.
* Improves software engineering standards, processes and techniques.
* Defines and maintains application developer's user guides and tip sheets.
* Interfaces with other members of project and program teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement solutions to meet group, organization, and company objectives.
* Work with outside software vendors technical organizations.
Skills:
The candidate will have experience with:
- PTC Windchill ProjectLink and PDMLink versions 7.0 and 8.0 suite of software (inc. InfoEngine).
- Expertise with Windchill Source Factor functionality and API's.

Windchill Architect
Job Description:
The Architect provides technical direction/oversight of internal and site-specific solutions.
They will also provide technical Windchill Development consultation for solutions/workflows.
Job responsibilities include:
• Review/assist the development of customizations & patches to as-delivered products (includes technical interaction with vendor on requirements for patches)
• Assist the development of ECI test plans and scenarios
• Assist ECI in the technical review of the use case scenarios, requirements, and deployment decisions
• Conduct design and code reviews to enforce consistency with the overall technical architecture
• Enforce quality software engineering processes
• Analyze and review data migration activities
• Analyze and review application integration architecture and development
• Document the above mentioned artifacts using Macroscope deliverables as defined in the project schedule
• Authority & architect of the ECI Rose Model
• Provide 2nd/3rd level consulting services to production community

Windchill System Administrator
Job Description:
• This position will provide system and business administration support for the Enterprise Collaborative Initiative (ECI) team supporting other programs requirements for solutions utilizing the Windchill workflow software applications.
• Within the Windchill application, the candidate will be responsible for site administration and program organizational administration roles such as creating workflow organizations, user maintenance, workflow maintenance, and create and manage organization access control policies.
• The Windchill administrator will monitor enterprise system transaction logs and system performance, manage overall system configuration and preferences, and resolve production issues.
• The administrator will support and maintain infrastructure services such as Apache, Tomcat, Aphelion, JRE, and Oracle running in a clustered HP-UX environment.
• The administrator will maintain and monitor Windchill services.
Competencies:
• The candidate will have a strong knowledge of UNIX (vi editor, scripting, NFS, clusters) and an understanding of network and client/server environment.
• Strong knowledge of Apache, Tomcat, and LDAP.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle and ability to write SQL scripts.
• Experience with PTC Windchill ProjectLink and PDMLink versions 7.0 and 8.0.

Production Support Specialist
Job Description:
• Responsible for managing health, monitoring, performance, capacity, recovery, and availability of the application, system, and all integrated components.
• Work closely with Help Desk functions & production support processes for maintaining environments. Elevates appropriate production issues to vendor services for assistance & resolution.
• Provide technical leadership to and applies knowledge of the PTC Windchill product, UNIX OS, enterprise directory services, LDAPs, and reverse proxies, WSSO/Oblix to the administration of the PTC Windchill/UNIX environment and architecture.
• Provide PTC Windchill Business Administration support.
• Provide production support, including providing off-hours on-call support for the production service.
• Perform regular maintenance activities as necessary during off-hour maintenance windows.

Job Description:
• This role combines the Metrics, Recovery Analyst and Test Management functions.
• The Metrics function coordinates identification, collection, analysis and dissemination of metrics for measuring organization performance.
• The Recovery Analyst Function designs, builds, and maintains disaster recovery plans, schedules, tools, processes and procedures.
• The Test Management function coordinates all testing environments and testing activities and results.
Job Duties include:
Metrics function:
• Follows the metrics processes and procedures set forth by CMMI.
• Coordinates compliance with direction from senior organizations for metrics collection and reporting.
• Coordinates identification and implementation of metrics as identified by ECI organization.
Recovery Analyst function:
• Designs, builds, and maintains disaster recovery plans, schedules, tools, processes and procedures.
• Coordinates implementation of solution(s) with other support organizations and geographic locations.
Test Management function:
• Ability to utilize Lean approach to improve the testing processes.
• Suggest improvements to the existing test environments (EC_TST, EC_INT, EC_PROD and EC_TRN).
