Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform routine operational AIX system administration duties to include troubleshooting of hardware and AIX operating system issues, daily monitoring of system health, backups and optimization as required.
Perform Level 2 troubleshooting for Hitachi/Brocade SAN environment to include adapter errors, zoning and port to port issues.
Working knowledge of Veritas Volume Manager,Veritas Cluster Server, Truecopy, Shadow Image and Netbackup. Experience with BMR (Bare Metal Restore) desired.
Must be flexible to work night shift if required. (7PM-7AM)!!!!!!
Experience: 3 Years
Desired Level of Efficiency/Other Experience Comments:
Minimum of 3 years experience supporting AIX/Unix servers in a multi-platform environment. Ability to quickly determine OS and File System issues and take appropriate action to restore functionality.

Education: Associates
Desired Training/Certifications/Other Education Comments:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent AIX System Administration experience. AIX certified preferred but not required.
Working knowledge of Veritas Volume Manager,Veritas Cluster Server, Truecopy, Shadow Image and Netbackup. Tivoli Enterprise Console is desired but not a requirement.

Unique Skills:
- Candidate must meet security clearance requirements for Customs and Border Protection.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- CBP requires that for the three (3) years prior to the filing of an application for employment, individuals must meet the one or more of the following primary residence criteria:
(a) the applicant resided in the United States (short trips abroad, such as vacations, will not necessarily disqualify an applicant); or
