POSITION TITLE: ERP Performance Testing Manager (PeopleSoft)
POSITION TYPE: Full-time (direct hire)
LOCATION: Silver Spring, Maryland

Interstaff Solutions (www.interstaffsolutions.com) is searching for a Performance Testing Project Manager with major ER experience, preferably in PeopleSoft.
Their client's customer is consolidating their ERP systems from a number of distinct business units with a focus on Business Financials, HR/Payroll, and Supply Chain applications and processes. PeopleSoft and SAP upgrades and data conversion will be performed as part of this project.
Technology objective is to re-platform from the current base to a common Intel Linux/Oracle blade server infrastructure
• Intel platform running Linux for all environments
• Oracle 10g/11G Grid as end game database
The initial focus for this position will be on performance testing for HCM, HR, and Payroll for PeopleSoft.
Daily Responsibilities:
• Responsible for coordinating and communication all planning and preparation activities
• Work closely with customer on overall sign-off
• Work closely with customer on gating criteria, artifacts and defect management
• Run daily and weekly status calls with customer and other vendors if applicable
• Work closely with the Off-shore Lead on test planning and preparation status, testing clarifications, metrics creation and more
• Provide coordination for vendor system testing, status and gating criteria
• Define testing project objectives and determine the best course of action to achieve project goals and deliverables.
• Manage team resources
• Manage overall test case creation
• Effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with dependencies and key milestones based on coordination with all project stakeholders.
• Develop and document acceptance criteria, anticipated benefits, and metrics to measure project success.
• Work with project teams to identify project risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans.
• Ensure project objectives are met by monitoring and measuring progress regularly to identify variances from the plan and take corrective action as necessary.
• Schedule and facilitate project team meetings to ensure all project requirements are effectively communicated to team members.
• Perform status reporting to communicate progress to project sponsors, key stakeholders and IT management.
• Maintain an issues list and communicate key issues to project sponsors, key stakeholders and IT management
• Track project spending and ensure project costs are allocated to the appropriate cost centers.
• Monitor project risks and coordinate the execution of the risk mitigation plan.
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery and ensure the successful completion of deliverables.
• Financial responsibility (approving all travel and expense for the project) and coordinating timely billings and collections
• Executive status to company and client organization
• Relationship building with the client organization
Required Qualifications:
• Large scale software and conversion project experience
• ERP Project experience
• Excellent Communication skills
• Performance testing experience
• Strong problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications:
• Telecom Project experience
• Infrastructure Project experience
• PMP Certified
• PeopleSoft experience
