Position Overview
TP SYSTEMS LTD. is a growing outsourcing and IT consulting firm, providing business solutions to both the private and public sector for over 25 years.

We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to lead and manage our Quality Assurance department.

Responsibilities

• To lead the QA team, ensuring the timely and effective distribution of QA testing resources to the various products and services.
• To set and monitor quality standards for testing, and implement and enforce testing policies and procedures.
• Drive the continuous improvement of software test processes to ensure that our products or services meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Coordinate workload of the QA team ensuring efficient distribution of resources.
• Assign tasks to QA testers and monitor their performance.
• Review test plans for quality, completeness and compliance with company and client standards.
• Mediate disagreements between testers and developers over testing results.
• Train new members of the QA team in testing theory and company standards.
• Conduct interviews for new testers and participate in candidate selection.
• Research new testing products and training opportunities.
• Advise management on proposed process changes and training opportunities.
• Report the status of QA efforts to Application Maintenance team subject matter experts (SMEs) and project managers.
• Ensure our products and services fit for their purpose and meet customer expectations.

Desirable Education
• College or diploma from an accredited institution or 2 years of related experience

Required Skills
Applicants MUST have previous experience with the following:

• Team lead experience
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated ability to prepare formal test plans, test cases and test reports
• Knowledge of Windows operating system and Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with project lifecycle methodologies, release management and change management
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Initiative to resolve issues
• Ability to direct, supervise and review the work of others, providing constructive feedback

Desirable Skills*

• Mercury QuickTest Professional testing tool experience
