Warehouse Management team members work in cross functional teams to analyze Logistics Execution performance, develop plans/business cases and guide implementation of Logistics Execution projects that drive competitiveness for our enterprise. The member will be part of the Corporate Catapult team with the goal of driving standardized processes, developing our people, and implementing SAP to drive this standardization.

While job activities vary significantly, sample activities might include: data research and analysis, as-is process documentation, process reengineering or design work, developing system functionality, process testing and system implementation. The member will interact directly with operations personnel to understand current state, future state, prepare the site for transition, prepare the system for transition, train employees, and troubleshoot problems. Essential Duties:
• Work with operations personnel to and process team members in developing business processes, documents, and procedures.
• Support the development of WRICEF (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) documents within Warehouse Management processes.
• Assist in the configuration of the SAP system based on processes developed with the team members.
• Focus on user needs and act as localization and deployment point person on Warehouse Management team
• Assist the operations personnel to prepare the sites (physical operations, people, data) for conversion to SAP.
• Work with other business process owners, end-users and project team members to effectively test and implement SAP on schedule


Education:
Bachelors Degree in scientific or quantitative field of study required - 4 year degree
Industrial Studies or Information Systems degree is a plus


Work Experience Requirements:
• 2 plus years experience in Logistics Execution systems (SAP, PkMS, Red Prarie, etc) with emphasis in Warehouse Management and Inventory Control.
• Proven successful track record on cross-functional team projects implementing a business system in an operations environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to build a business case for proposed solution
• Strong strategic skills with ability and vision to map out “to be” business processes
• Demonstrated ability to work with business system data
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change
• Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to foster collaborative relationships across multiple demographic groups (hourly employees to Operations Directors)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
• Demonstrated ability to work limited supervision against aggressive timelines

Technical Experience and other Requirements:
• Experience implementing SAP R3 or an equivalent system, a plus
• Experience with SAP WM system configuration, testing, and implementation a plus
• Experience implementing PkMS a plus
• Experience working in a warehouse environment a plus
• Knowledge of ABAP a plus


Travel:

• Candidates must live in the greater Atlanta/North Georgia area with the ability to work in the office in Sandy Springs
• While certain phases of the project require no travel, other phases will require 100% travel for a limited time.
