Description:
Senior Developer Proficiency utilizing the following languages: -
Java, J2EE - BEA Portal Server - Weblogic Server 10.0 - Linux OS - Oracle 10g DB The position is a senior developer. The job function is to help drive software based design and core development of a Web 2.0 based portal using portlet architecture. Strong Sun/Java based UI development skills are needed. The development environment is going to be on Intel based Servers with Linux OS. The new SaaS (Software as a Service) based SMB Portal will have to come up with Web 2.0 based UI. A Workspace have to be created which will have to provide collaborative services such as Audio Conferencing, Web Conferencing, Online Web Office and IM. These interfaces will have to built with VZ internal and external vendor products. Strong Web Services development experience is expected. Implementation of Siteminder based Single Sign On integration is needed. Experience with any Content Management Systems will be a plus.
Proficiency utilizing the following Products: -
BEA Portal Server, Weblogic Server 10.0, Linux OS, Oracle 10g Database Server. 7+ years experience in developing complex enterprise wide web applications using Sun/Java/BEA Development Suite - Strong documentation, debugging and data analysis skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated experience working in a team culture - Demonstrated capability to work independently and achieve quality results on time with minimal support - relevant Developer Certification is a plus

Demonstrates in-depth knowledge in job-related functional area and of the business.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, and 7-9 years job related experience.
