Position Summary:
Responsible for high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature and leading edge technology environments. This role is responsible for all applications development which includes new development for home grown applications or customizations in packaged, application enhancements, applications maintenance and applications break fix. Utilize mature (3rd or 4th Generation) and leading edge technology programming methodologies and languages. Develop and adhere to programming standards, procedures and techniques and contribute to the technical code documentation. Lead large size technology solutions for applications, interfaces and data conversions. Develop the logical and physical model and design documents. Participate and recommend approaches to development standards for multiple application platforms. Oversees the Software Change Requests and manage its priority, development and release. Manages the Software Change Request release schedule and implement best practices for source code controls. Remain aware of new technologies / programming languages. Oversee multiple development, maintenance and support of the applications. May be called upon to mange a large enterprise project.

Essential Responsibilities:
•This role is responsible for all applications development which includes new development for home grown applications or customizations in packaged, application enhancements, applications maintenance and applications break fix.
•Lead large size technology solutions for applications, interfaces and data conversions.
•Oversee multiple development maintenance and support of Oracle Applications
Travel Responsibilities:
•Requires travel(multiple offices within the US)
Success Criteria:
Your success will be measured based on:
•Ability to lead, manage, retain, and develop a highly technical staff.
•Ability to lead multiple application technology implementations on time and within budget.
•Ability to work with IT and Business Process Owners(BPO) to understand IT and Business Strategy and their implementation to the appropriate platform/technology/ application
Skills and Experience Requirements:
•15-18 years+ of application technology work experience
•Must have extensive Oracle development and implementation experience
•Proven success running an IT Development Department
•Must have experience implementing application based service level agreements and proven experience to drive resources to report against SLA's on a monthly basis.
Educational Requirements:
•College Degree and specialized training a must. Certification in development tools, SDLC, and Project Management a plus.
