The client is in need of .Net Developer for 3 month contract to hire position in Houston, TX.
Job Description:
Candidate will be responsible for coding the client Desktop application components. Candidate will work with a large team of developers to provide coding, application analysis and production support if needed. The majority of the candidate time will be spent in application design and development.
Minimum Requirements:
Must have some experience or knowledge of ASP.NET and Visual Basic (any version). Must have a solid grasp of computing fundamentals, object-oriented design, and tiered architectures.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline is desired, though candidates with equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience:
Intermediate experience level (2 to 4 years) is desired, though exceptional entry-level candidates will be considered.
Desired Qualifications:
While not critical, expertise in all of the following areas is desirable: .NET Framework, ASP.NET, T-SQL, MS Enterprise Library (“Application Blocks”), JavaScript, service-oriented architecture, ETL, CSS and web services.
