We have an excellent permanent employment opportunity for an experience Oracle DBA with a global energy company in West Houston. Your primary responsibility will be the
administration and support of Oracle 10g and MS-SQL databases. Additionally, you will work with developers to design new systems, add functionality to existing Oracle
Applications, and assist in database programming.

Requirements include 5 years of IT experience with 3 years as an Oracle DBA, a working knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Plus, and Oracle Application
Server in a Linux environment. A working knowledge of Oracle Forms, PL/SQL, and experience interfacing with and mentoring developers on projects is highly desired.

MS-SQL experience is not a must and training will be provided if needed. Experience in administering and maintaining Oracle E-Business Suite and / or Oracle Discoverer
is a strong plus.
