Description
We are looking for a smart, self-motivated software engineer to join our client's R&D team, working with innovators in the industry to develop cutting-edge products for entertainment lighting. This position will give you an opportunity to develop software that will be released into production and a chance to see the product in action. Great opportunity for someone wanting to get started or to jump to the next step in their software development career.
Summary of Duties:
* Design, code and test embedded software in C and C++ for entertainment lighting systems.
* Work with hardware designers to verify functionality of new hardware designs.
* Use software and hardware debugging tools to reduce development time.
* Use configuration management tools to track and control changes.
Qualification:
* BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or the equivalent work/education experience.
* C/C++ in real-time embedded development environment
* Good working knowledge of object oriented design, data structures and operating systems.
* Good understanding of low level hardware interfacing and device drivers.
Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Salary: 55k - 65k
