The Senior Java Software Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting stand-alone web applications. Responsibilities include writing new apps and maintaining existing ones. Applications are used internally to help support business operations. The Engineer will be responsible for full software life cycle development, from analyzing requirements through release, maintenance, and upgrades. The Engineer will be responsible for actively working with users to fulfill their needs.

Type: Fulltime, Contract to Hire or Contract. W2 or 1099 only, sorry no Corp-to-Corp.
Salary: $90k - $130k / yr, DOE

Requirements

Senior level Java engineer with 5+ years hands-on experience
Expert in J2EE? web applications (EJB, JDBC/SQL, Servlets, JSP, etc.)
Working knowledge of J2EE? application servers
Familiarity with a variety of open source tools and libraries
Experience in full software life cycle development: analysis through release and maintenance
Basic knowledge of ERP systems
Highly self-motivated
Strong communication skills
Ability to adapt to changing requirements
Struts experience a plus
