Position Overview
Our client is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Oracle Forms and Application Developer to work out of Victoria. The project is based on Microsoft Windows and Oracle Technology.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in application architecture activities
- Participate in data modeling activities
- Participate in the Technical Design Reviews with developers
- Tutor Development Team in regard to both the Oracle products and their appropriate use
- Perform and assign code reviews; review results and take necessary corrective action
- Work with PM's to ensure client expectations are realistic and achieved
Skills and Experience
- Oracle Forms, Data base and PL/SQL experience is a must
- Oracle Certified / thorough knowledge of Oracle products such as Designer, Forms, Reports, Database
- Application development experience using oracle forms and reports
- Experience providing third level support
- Experience installing Oracle software in a windows environment
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, regardless of the audience, and an ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Demonstrated skills in creative problem-solving, resource allocation and sourcing, long-term planning
