Senior-Mid Level Network Engineer

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Senior-Mid-Level Network Engineer who is interested in being consistently challenged. This is the perfect position for an individual who wants to be exposed to new and exciting technologies, and who wants to become a “Trusted Advisor” to their set of clientele.
The position entails visiting roughly 2 different clients daily within the Los Angeles/Orange County Area. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining local and wide area networks primarily on the Microsoft platform.
This position requires excellent communication skills as much of your time will be dealing with end-users or individuals in our clients I.T. Departments.
YOU ARE A MASTER OF THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES:
• All Windows desktop and server platforms, including Windows 2000/2003/2008 Server, Windows NT, Windows XP Pro, Windows 2000 Pro, Windows NT4.0 Workstation, and Windows ME/98/95.
• Thorough understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, etc.
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2000/2003/2007 (all of our clients run Exchange Server)
• VERITAS/Symantec Backup Exec 8.x and later.
• Symantec Anti-Virus Enterprise/Corporate Editions
• Experience with Terminal Server environments required.
• Understanding of basic concepts of Firewall technologies (Cisco and Sonicwall a plus!)
• Microsoft Office and Outlook
• MCSE certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience in Cisco, Citrix, Mac, Storage Area Networks, & RSA are a big plus, but not required.
YOU ARE:
• Excellent at communicating with end-users/management/I.T. staff members of other companies.
• Looking forward to not working in the same environment day in and day out.
• Willing to do regional traveling on a daily basis (typically within the Los Angeles/Orange count Area)
• Willing to work occasional nights and weekends for network deployments.
YOU HAVE:
• Minimum 4 years experience hands on experience with the above technologies.
• Brilliant Troubleshooting Skills.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• The desire to work in a challenging environment in which no two days are alike!
Compensation and Benefits
This position is a full time position (W-2). Base pay for this position starts between 65-75K annually, depending on experience. Once this position has reached full utilization, a solid candidate has an earning potential of more than 90k annually.
