Our client is a premier global company and has an excellent long-term contract opportunity, with the possibility of full-time permanent employment for the ideal candidate.
You will support a custom network monitoring application written in ColdFusion / Oracle, and troubleshoot scripts. Additionally, you will lead an effort to research, evaluate and recommend a network monitoring tool such as CA Spectrum or HP OpenView to replace the current applications. You will also oversee its implementation and provide ongoing support. This position will interface with several internal and external groups including vendors.
Requirements include strong expertise with Solaris application support and scripting. Working knowledge of ColdFusion is a strong plus. Strong communication experience along with a Bachelor's Degree is required. Hourly rate will be based on experience.
