Job Description:

The Client is Looking for a support analyst to provide trade support and technology management for their global support model in the Equity Program Trading space. The platform couples technology and business specialists together in order to provide solutions to internal customer requests while leveraging development resources in problem resolution and business stability.

Required Skills:

• TRADING FLOOR EXPERIENCE AND EQUITY EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
• Intimate familiarity of the Unix and Windows environments
• Scripting experience in Linux/Unix environment -- Perl, etc.
• Knowledge of SQL preferred.
• The ability to build relationships across multiple platforms throughout the business
• Strong MS Office skills with an emphasis on MS Excel knowledge
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience
• Must be self-directed, analytical and work well in a team environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately
• Willingness to constantly learn dynamic work flows of an ever-changing technology and trading environment

Responsibilities:
• Provide a mission critical response to daily trading issues through investigation and problem solving techniques.
• Liaison between development and business teams in order to improve the quality of the system and its applications.
• Incorporate personal knowledge in the development of support tools and efficiencies that will be used by the team for daily or specific events.
• Analyze impact of proposed solutions while interacting with the business to raise awareness of current technology deployments.
• Take a self-starter approach to designing new procedures and policy regarding the program trading environment.
• Effectively communicate and escalate issues between the business and team members in order to ensure proper handling of issues is provided.
