Programmer Analyst

Location :- Alpharetta, GA

Job Description:

This position is for a member of the WMS Support team. The candidate will be responsible for solving functional and technical issues regarding our full suite of Warehouse Management Systems (Exceed 4000, PkMS Unix Cobol and PkMS Open Systems). The job also requires troubleshooting of file transmission issues to/from clients. Unix/Intel scripting and aptitude in SQL will also be required for internal reporting and process monitoring.

Responsibilties:

College degree or equivalent required, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems
Self motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a support team
Strong analytical and problem solving skills required
Primary technical skills needed to perform the job: Oracle RDBMS (8.x, 9.x, 10.x), Knowledge of SQL Oracle, Unix shell scripting, previous experience working with Warehouse Management systems and excellent communications skills are required. Working knowledge of MSAccess, SQL Server, MQ Series and Biztalk is a plus.
