My client is a cutting edge trading firm that is looking for J2EE developers that like to push themselves on a daily basis to solve complex, mission critical issues in a fast paced team-oriented environment. You will be a member of a talented team responsible for building and maintaining electronic trading system components ranging from trade entry, order management, API connectivity and messaging. Are you up for the challenge?? If so, my client is searching for:
Requirements
* At least 1 year of professional experience developing using J2EE in a real-time environment, preferably at a Proprietary trading firm, Investment Bank or Hedge fund, but not required.
* Experience working on distributed, multi-threaded client / server architecture, especially in algorithmic trading systems.
* Experience in Linux / Unix or Windows development environment is required with scripting languages, such as SQL, PERL, K-Shell, Python, etc. a huge plus.
* Experience with Java (J2EE) technologies including: Beans, EJBs, JDBC, Servlets, XML, SOAP, JSP, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, etc.
* Preferably a BS degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering field. MS and PhD's are highly accepted.
*** I also have needs in Chicago proper, New York, Dallas, Philadelphia, or London.
