We are a progressive software development company in need of a professional database architect. Our products back end is Oracle and we need help in configuring our systems for our SaaS environment. You do not need to have experience with applications delivered via SaaS, we will teach you the issues with SaaS. This role is critical to us as we need both a technologist and someone with excellent leadership and communication skills that can function in a team atmosphere. You bring your 10 years of experience to the table and you will have the chance to gain valuable SaaS architecture experience from the top professionals in the industry. As the key database architect you will be responsible for making recommendations to our existing and new product database to increase performance and to incorporate new features based on customer feedback. It is important that you have java and hibernate experience as this is database has a java application on the front end. You must also have the experience of working with the development team to translate the customer requirements into the application and it's ripple effect into the database design.
Required skills:
*Able to stand up in front of a development team and white board designs
*8 years of Oracle database design
*5 years of working with Java applications
*Experience with Hibernate
*Experience with Eclipse or other similar open source tools
