Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
• SME level expertise and in-depth product knowledge of Life & Annuity Insurance is an ABSOLUTE MUST.
• Superior skills in requirements gathering, writing functional and design specs, establishing process and risk analysis, creating flow diagrams, etc. are important.
• Strong background in utilizing formalized methodologies is essential.
• This includes product development, expertise with the administration process of these types of insurance products, thorough knowledge of variable/fixed products, etc.
• Ability & willingness to frequent travel (35% or so).
• Background in rules engine, business rules development.
• Some technical knowledge of SQL, XML, Aqua Date Studio, Oxygen would be helpful.
Description: Responsibilities:
• Experience gathering detailed requirements, writing business specifications, translate business process specifications into functional/design specs and business rules, etc.
• Provide SME level guidance on business processes and product knowledge. Must have in-depth product knowledge of Life & Annuity Insurance.
• To provide expertise on complex business systems & applications, developing process and generating reports in a timely fashion.
