Technical Manager, Product Experience, XML, Protocols
Do you thrive in a high pressure, high visibility role? Are you up for a challenge? We need a Sr. Program Manager to help with the planning and program management of tools that are used to test and deliver protocol documentation.
You'll be working on supporting a live production automated build documentation system which uses and manipulates massive amounts of XML, works with complex schemas and databases to generate a very large document (50K+ pages) composed of page-layouts, text and image files. The underlying application is written in C/C++, C# and XML.
* Minimum of 5+ years of program management experience
* Experience shipping a shrink-wrapped or public facing product required
* An understanding of release cycles
* Familiarity with open communication protocols is a big plus. Some examples include SNMP, TCP/IP, RPC, HTTP, SOAP and also Windows Communication (MCPP) protocols and windows server protocols (WSPP).
* Experience with rapid release cycles or RAD environment
* Ability to work with minimal direction or supervision and act with minimal information and adapt as additional information is presented
* MS Project and Visio experience
Bonus Skills
* Prior experience as a Developer
* Experience with XML, XSD and XSLT
* Previous experience with communications protocols and networking
