Microsoft Exchange Engineer

Job Description:
Senior Microsoft Exchange Engineering resource. This position will be focused on an Email Consolidation project as part of PepsiCo International business objectives. The platform will be a Microsoft Exchange 2003 environment but the team has responsibilities beyond this project including Exchange 2007. • Develop and engineer Exchange 2003/Exchange 2007 server solutions • Develop and engineer Microsoft LCS and OCS environments • Develop and implement routing redundancy for North America and International locations Requires a knowledge of Windows infrastructure technology with an emphasis on all versions of Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft LCS/OCS and Windows Active Directory. This knowledge must be based on experience with large deployments. Technical knowledge of networking principles such as LAN/WAN configurations and name resolution (DNS/WINS), replication strategies and implications, SMTP mail flow, SMTP appliances, Anti-Virus design and implementations, anti-SPAM techniques and strategies, and Outlook Web Access implementations. Strong knowledge of Intel servers, configurations, Disk I/O systems, SAN technologies, and clustering is required with extensive proven experience in implementations of these technologies.. Requires demonstrated experience in working on projects and initiatives with distributed teams across different locations and time zones.

Windows Active Directory
Windows Server 2003
Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007
Microsoft Office Communicator 2005 and 2007
SMTP email standards
Anti-Virus / Anti-SPAM technologies
PowerShell Scripting
Perl programming
HP Blade Server and Dell Server technology
High availability, SAN Storage and LAN environments Experience working with International teams is a huge plus. Additional language skills (Spanish, French, etc.) are also a plus.
