We are in the process of interviewing candidates for a firmware development project that should begin in the next few weeks. The initial phase of the project is slated to last up to 6 months (w/ possible extension).
We are seeking candidates that possess strong experience and skills in most or all of the following areas:
Embedded Systems
Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Firmware
Embedded Linux
Threadx
PowerPC
MPEG or MP3
Must have excellent C or C++ experience
Preference to candidates possessing experience with the following:
Audio/Video Experience
- Experience with ARM architecture
- Experience with Audio/Video container (file) format de-multiplexing
- Experience with Audio/Video decoders. Note that we do not need people who have written decoders, but instead know how to programmatically use them.
- Experience with multi-media engine systems.
- Experience with Janus DRM9/10 would be a big plus.
