The Eligibility and Enrollment Application Solutions Group is seeking a Business Analyst Sr Specialist to lead requirement definition activities in support of the Workflow and Utilities Domain development projects. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Not only possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis, but also considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. May instruct, direct, and check the work of business analysis personnel. May act as a project lead for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work efficiently to meet aggressive deadlines and produce high-quality results. The incumbent will work collaboratively with members of the ASGs and business communities to complete complex technical requirements artifacts that will meet business needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience, typically six or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT.
Self-motivated and highly professional.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously with strong organizational and prioritization skills..
Demonstrated systems analysis experience and strong knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project management life cycle.
Experience writing thorough technical specifications.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and work effectively with diverse groups of peers and business partners.
Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
Experience with business process workflow design.
Required Technical Skills:
Demonstrated use of MS ACCESS, Excel, Project and Visio.
Desired Skills:
A solid working knowledge of Employer Services business processes and automated Workflow Tools.
