JOB SUMMARY
This is a full-time position as a Network Security Consultant. The position entails the installation and configuration of firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, Network architecture from both a security and routing perspective, Windows Active Directory/Exchange configuration and design. Provide professional Security Maturity Assessment work, individually or as a team leader, in accordance with generally accepted security assessment standards and Secure DNA Security Maturity Assessment standards.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Undergraduate degree is required in Computer Science or related field is required. Knowledgeable in Cisco security technologies preferred but not required.
Experience
• Experience and interested in Cisco security technologies preferred.
• Windows Active Directory/Exchange experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal professional development.
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills, including the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to the success of the team.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills suitable for all levels of management. Ability to negotiate and inspire effective, timely, proactive or corrective action by management.
• Self-starter, with the ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member of a diverse work group.
• Experience in the use of MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint and Visio.
