We have an immediate direct hire opportunity for an SAP Logistics Solutions Expert.
Responsibilities:
** Leads the design and deployment of SAP MM/IM/WM solutions to a complex, enterprise-wide business requirements.
** Simultaneously leads multiple project teams of SAP technical staff and business process experts who support the solution deployment.
** Prioritizes and manages the effort surrounding the solution, and makes the final determination as to when the solution is ready to be placed in the system production environment.
** Evaluates integration issues in a mature SAP system environment that includes FI/CO/PS/HR/PM/EH&S.
** Evaluates and recommends new SAP Logistics functionality that will serve a business area not yet using SAP functionality.
** Consults with business areas and IT management to determine the most effective SAP solution that aligns with the corporate IT strategy.
** Consults with and persuades business management on the merits of the SAP application design and articulates information on solution benefits, user impacts, and business risk.
** Resolves any application issues between business organizations and/or within the SAP organization.
Requirements:
** Bachelor**s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 10 years of experience with expertise related to area of Logistics and/or Information Systems.
Note: 18 years of relevant education, training, and/or progressive experience will be reviewed and considered for equivalency to these requirements. A Master**s degree and at least 8 years of technical knowledge and experience in SAP MM/IM/WM functionality, configuration, and data structures are preferred.
** Requires experience in leading cross-organizational business process re-engineering and optimization.
** Also requires experience in implementing a technical solution by solving complex problems within a defined schedule and budget.
** Must have the ability to make independent decisions about solution design and articulate their impact to the project team and business management.
** Requires experience in leading enterprise-wide project teams of technical resources and business process experts.
** Position requires a drug, background and credit check.
