Director, Motion Pictures Marketing IT
Job Description
The Director of Motion Pictures Marketing IT provides functional support on various projects and applications in the Motion Pictures IT group. This includes gathering and documenting business requirements from users, designing business processes, developing high level application designs with the technical teams, and serving as the liaison between the business and technical groups. The Director will manage a team of analysts and technical personnel and is expected to learn the business at a detail level and leverage this knowledge to ensure the timely delivery of quality solutions. This position will:
• Manage a team of business analysts, software developers, and offshore resources
• Interact with marketing and IT executives to align IT capabilities with business goals
• Coordinate activities with other IT groups to ensure seamless delivery of services
• Develop long-term strategies and roadmaps, and mange their implementation
• Perform initial analysis and assessment of proposed projects leading to the development of supporting business cases and cost/benefit analysis
• Work with business users to document and re-engineer business processes
• Gather and document detailed business requirements
• Work with technical teams to develop prototypes and solutions
• Test and QA applications before they are delivered to business users
• Provide application support
Job Qualifications
• BA or BS from an accredited 4-year university, MBA a big plus
• Extensive business analysis experience in large corporate environments, previous consulting experience a big plus
• Experience with web-based application development
• Experience leading projects and teams
• General knowledge of the filmed entertainment industry, previous experience at a major studio is a big plus

• Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with a wide span of people from executive management to offshore developers
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to present complex technical information to non-technical business users
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment and adjust to frequent changes in requirements and deadlines
