DreamSoft, Inc. is a high end web development and 3D company that focuses on building cutting edge websites and 3D renderings for all industries. We have an extraordinary client base ranging from large corporate clients like Nissan Motors and 4 Seasons Hotels to small resorts and ecommerce companies. DreamSoft has grown exponentially over the last 6 years and currently staffs nearly 50 developers and managers across multiple offices and continents.
We are looking to immediately hire a Sr. Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of all web development projects that come through the sales pipeline. This position would be responsible for managing a team of five full time project managers that handle the day to day tasks of managing projects through our milestone process. Another primary responsibility of the Sr. Project Manager role would be to police the Milestone Process and ensure all projects are handled according to the spec, time and budget. This individual would also work with the Sales team to gather and compile functional specifications from the client and ensure all projects are started in the right direction. Client communication and project management on larger more complex projects would also be part of the Sr. Project Manager's responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversight and management of the project management team, consisting of 5 project managers
• Closely work with the sales team to gather necessary documentation from the client
• Hold weekly Milestone Review meetings with project managers to verify all projects are being managed properly and according to process.
• Occasionally assist in sales meetings to help communicate and sell on our process and commitment to quality and customer service.
• Continuously look at ways we can improve our systems and processes to better serve our clients.
• Development of documentation and standards, including functional and technical specifications documents to facilitate the successful completion of quality web projects.
• Overall responsibility of ensuring all web development projects move successfully through completion by following our Milestone Process.
Desired Skills:
• A solid understanding of the web development process and web development trends
• 2+ years experience managing web development projects through the entire project lifecycle, including identification, collaboration, design, construction, verification and delivery
• Capabilities and limitations of various browsers and user operating systems as it applies to website development
• Knowledge of common Internet application development and production software as well as development standards and conventions
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Team oriented mentality
• Understanding of the importance of delivering high-quality product while balancing the need for rapid delivery
• Ability to learn and understand the strengths and weaknesses of new development tools, techniques and processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially MS Project
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

• Strong PC skills (MS Windows)

Requirements:
• Four-year College degree (BS/BA)
• 2+ years experience as a project manager developing websites or online applications
• Demonstrated ability to execute multiple, interdependent end to end projects
• Experience with web development, digital advertising, consumer-facing application development, social media, SEO/SEM, mobile and related technologies
• Working knowledge of LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP), AJAX, Javscript, CSS, HTML/XHTML, XML, Ruby, API Integration, Flash AS3
• Command of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Visio, Wordpress
• Degree desired within a related field such as computer software engineering, multimedia development, business management, interactive marketing or communications
• MBA or additional accreditation (e.g. PMI certification, etc.) are a bonus
