Peoplesoft FSCM Architect with Financial industry experience
LOCATION: NYC
DURATION: 6 Months
RATE: DOE
Primary responsibilities:
Advising project and program managers on technical architecture designs and solutions for meeting business requirements of the project and mitigating risks in accordance to the firm's strategic direction, compliance policies, and industry best practice for ERP systems implementation
Developing approach documents, design deliverables, and cost estimates to establish business case for recommended technical architecture design solutions
Supporting the project and program managers on strategic and detailed project planning, including the identification of team and system resource requirements for project delivery
Advising on best practice and project approach for measurement of strategic benefits of the project
Close collaboration with technical team members from IT, functional experts from the business client, and software vendors will be required for the above efforts.
It is imperative that the candidate have experience in 3 critical areas:
Heavy-duty Technical Architecture
Subject matter expertise in supply chain processes and applications
Recent and Extensive FINANCIAL industry experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated experience delivering complex, multi-site, global ERP projects / programs in the financial services industry in the project / program manager capacity, preferably on a PeopleSoft platform or other similar ERP software package
Prior experience developing technical architecture designs including identification of requisite HW components and implications to batch design as well as associated cost estimates
Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior business partners, stakeholders, and IT managers to lead change management efforts
Subject matter knowledge of supply chain processes and software applications, specifically for strategic sourcing, procurement, and payment processes
Subject matter knowledge of financial accounting processes and software applications, with deep understanding of integration points with supply chain processes
Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies including expertise using relevant software tools.
